My work
My role in the Macleans Education Hub involved the development of the first digital subscription product for SJC and Macleans aimed at students. This project required me to utilize my expertise in UX UI design and art direction to create a comprehensive solution from inception to completion.
SiteMap
After reviewing the PRD, I proceeded to create the sitemap and information architecture for the project. Additionally, I meticulously documented all aspects of the project on Confluence.

Create Design System
Since the digital subscription product for SJC and Macleans was being developed from scratch, I assumed the responsibility of creating the entire design system for the UI. This involved a comprehensive process of researching, designing, and implementing a cohesive and visually appealing system that would effectively convey the brand identity and user experience.
To achieve this, I began with extensive research into the target audience, the company's brand guidelines, and industry best practices. Using this knowledge, I created a design system that consisted of a color palette, typography, iconography, and other visual elements that were consistently applied throughout the product.
This design system not only enhanced the visual appeal of the product but also improved its usability and accessibility. By adhering to a standardized design system, users were able to navigate the product with ease, making for a more enjoyable and efficient experience overall. Overall, the design system played a crucial role in the success of the product.

Logo Creation
I designed the logo for the product using Maclean's existing typography, in order to maintain brand consistency and cohesiveness. By utilizing the same typography, I was able to create a logo that not only visually represented the product but also aligned with Maclean's established brand identity.

Easy tables navigation
I redesigned the information tables and created a set of small icons. This was done with the aim of enhancing the user experience and ensuring that information was presented in a clear, concise and visually appealing manner.
The process involved extensive research into the best practices for designing tables and icons, with a focus on optimizing user comprehension and ease of use. I then utilized this knowledge to develop a unique design solution that met the specific needs of the project.
Through careful attention to detail and a user-centered approach, I was able to create a UI that presented information in a more intuitive and aesthetically pleasing manner. This improved the overall usability of the product and contributed to a more positive user experience."
